The Knights of Columbus will have a fish fry on Friday, September 13, 5-7 p.m. at Church of the Transfiguration, 7624 Roanoke Road, Fincastle; eat-in or take-out, $12, ages 7 and under are free.
The meal will consist of two filets of lightly breaded flounder or six chicken nuggets (reserved for children or adults who do not want fish), sweet cornbread, crispy fries, creamy coleslaw, and choice of one dessert. A 50/50 drawing will be held. No advance ticket sales.
Proceeds to benefit several Botetourt County charities: Greenfield Elementary Backpack Ministry, Botetourt Food Pantry, Botetourt Resource Center and other local charities. For more information, call 540-904-3126.
