The Roanoke Valley Longbeards will hold a fishing rodeo at Thrasher’s Pond in Springwood on Saturday, May 4, from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. The event is free and limited to 50 participants age 17 and under. Check-in takes place between 9-10 a.m., followed by fishing from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Lunch will be provided for participants and their families. Due to space limitations, walk-ins are not allowed.
