Floyd Saunders Sprinkel, 86, of Daleville went home to be with the Lord on Monday, April 5, 2021.
Floyd was predeceased by his parents, Samuel and Kathleen Sprinkel; brothers, Ben and Robert Sprinkel; and sister, Patty Sprinkel.
He is survived by his loving children and grandchildren who were his whole world. Children: Brenda Journell (Allen), Sharon Yates (fiancé Kenneth), Scott Sprinkel (Robin); Grandchildren: Wayne Journell (Kitrina), Amy Johnston (Andy), Andy Yates (Allison), Allyson Yates; Great-Granddaughters: Hadleigh Journell, Zoey Johnston, Mila Johnston, Olive Yates (due May 2021). He is also survived by a brother, Sam Sprinkel and wife Sue; nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life Service will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Saturday, April 24, at Melrose Baptist Church, 3520 Peters Creek Road, Roanoke, following social distancing and masking guidelines.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be made to the American Heart Association or American Cancer Society.
