Gish-Snider Cemetery

The oldest burial was that of Jacob Gish in 1847. He was a young man, being only 46 years old. He was married to Catherine Kinzie, who died in 1886. Their son Jacob and his wife Cora are also buried there. Catherine Kinzie was the daughter of Abraham Kinzie.
Jacob, Cora and Lidia Gish are in unmarked graves along with about 10 other unmarked graves that were noticed when inventoried.
The Snider family members are Ella, Lizzie, James and Rosa. James and Rosa are the children of J.G. and Mary C. Snyder. Ella Echols Snyder was the wife of William E. Snyder and Lizzie was their daughter.
Mary G. Shaver was the daughter of Samuel L. and Mary Gish Shaver and died in 1874.
