Haden Family Cemetery
The cemetery is located on Hayden Loop Road on private property in Glen Wilton.
It contains graves of Richard and Eloise C. (Watkins) Haden and the following children: Anselmn, age 22 in 1861; Joel, age 28 in 1864; Richard G., age 68, died in 1908; and Willie Watkins Haden James. Photos were by Karen Weddle in 2014. At that time the cemetery was well cared for.
Joshua Edward James from Delaware married Willie Haden in 1911 in West Virginia, and settled in Botetourt County. Joshua E. James Jr., the son of Willie and Joshua, died in 1912 of pneumonia. His death certificate states that he is interred in the Haden Family Cemetery, but he does not have a marker.
Eloise C Watkins Haden was the daughter of Joel and Mary Watkins, she died in 1879. Richard C. Haden died of pneumonia in 1869.
