Ryan Fralin, a Lord Botetourt graduate and a junior on the Concord University baseball team, was recently named the National Collegiate Baseball Writers’ Association (NCBWA) Atlantic Region Player of the Week.
Fralin earned the honor after batting .800 (8-for-10) in three Concord wins against Bluefield State and West Virginia Wesleyan twice. Ryan added six runs scored, seven RBI and two stolen bases for the week. With the eight hits, Fralin slugged 1.000 over the three-game stretch.
Fralin is the first CU player to be selected NCBWA Atlantic Player of the Week this season.
