Jeffry Lynn Frazier was born on October 2, 1949 in Price, Ky., to John and Thelma Frazier. He grew up in both Price, Ky., and Dayton, Ohio, and graduated from Miamisburg High School in Montgomery County, Ohio. After high school, Jeff attended both Alice Lloyd College and the University of Kentucky with a major in math.

Jeff worked as a teacher for a few years in Lexington, Ky. Then he moved to Houston, Texas, and began working for U.S. Steel, where he started his career with computers. In 1985, he moved to Roanoke and began to work for GE.

In 1984, his first daughter Becca was born, and in 1988, his second daughter Bethany was born. In 2001, he met Yvonne Campbell while working at GE. By the next year, they were married! Jeff and Yvonne enjoyed many happy years together. They enjoyed taking motorcycle trips, cheering for their favorite sports teams (UK and LSU), and spending quality time with friends, family, and their children and grandchildren. He and Yvonne were also thrilled to be able to build a home in the country!

Jeff retired from TMEIC-GE in 2012. In his spare time, he enjoyed tinkering around the garage and doing outdoor yard work, and he was always available to help others with whatever project they were working on. He was a big fan of music, with John Prine being one of his favorites. In his younger years, he enjoyed playing guitar.

Jeff had many friends that became lifelong friends. He was honest and dependable, caring for many and cared for by many. He was a devoted and dependable husband, friend, father, and grandfather.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Yvonne Frazier; parents, John and Thelma Frazier; and his brother, Luke Frazier. He is survived by his daughters, Becca Green (Nathan) and Bethany Mitchell (Christopher), and their mother, Robyn Frazier; stepson, Andy Wertz (Jenny); seven grandchildren, Azariah, Fairlight, Gabriel, Adrian, Gavin, John, and Brady; his brother, Grassy Frazier (Debbie); nieces, Lesli Frazier and Jodi Frazier; and a nephew, Lorhn Frazier.

A visitation will be held at Rader Funeral Home on Friday, September 19 from 1-3 p.m. In lieu of gifts, donations can be made to Alice Lloyd College or the Parkinson’s Foundation.
