Connor Fuhrman, a 2022 graduate of Lord Botetourt High School, played the final weeks of the Appalachian League baseball season with the Pulaski River Turtles and appeared in 14 games. Connor played outfield and had eight hits in 46 at-bats in the wooden bat league for college players. He scored eight runs and drove in 11 and he also walked eight times, giving him an on-base percentage of .291. Connor will play for the University of South Carolina in the coming school year.
