The Lord Botetourt girls evened their soccer record at 6-6-3 with an 8-0 shutout of William Fleming in Daleville last Friday. The win, combined with a 1-1 tie against William Byrd last week, lifted LB to 4-1-3 in Blue Ridge District games.
LB’s Kendall Nixon had a three-goal hat trick in the win over Fleming, and she also had an assist. Katherine Woodward had two goals and Bria Harvey, Cailey Petrauskas and Ella Fletcher had one goal each. Petrauskas also had two assists, Janey Farrar had three assists and Lily Mosley and Allison Wertz had one each.
The Cavaliers were scheduled to host Northside on Tuesday of this week, but results were too late for publication. They’re at Franklin County Friday.
