Glenn Lindbergh Lemon, 92, of Eagle Rock, passed away Wednesday, July 21, 2021.
Glenn was born December 24, 1928 in Covington and was the son of the late Henry W. and Minnie O. Hoke Lemon. He lived in the area all of his life.
Glenn was a kiln operator for Lone Star Cement Co., retiring after 32 years of service. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and the outdoors.
In addition to his parents, Glenn was preceded in death by his wife, Ida Belle Wright Lemon; four brothers and one sister.
He is survived by his son, Dan (Holly) Lemon of Owings, Md.; daughters, Glenda Lemon of Blue Ridge and Cheryl Lemon of Eagle Rock; six grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren; dear friend, Gerald Thomas; and other friends.
A service honoring Glenn’s life was held at 2 p.m. Tuesday July 27 at Rader Funeral Home, Daleville, with burial in Forest Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.
