Lord Botetourt girls basketball coach Renee Favaro, along with her staff and former and current players, conducted the annual “Future Cavs” basketball camp at the high school last week. A large group of young ladies attended to learn fundamentals, listen to interesting speakers and enjoy some team play with the goal of someday playing for Lord Botetourt High School. An added treat this year were members of the 2025 Class 3 state champion Lord Botetourt team, who held up pieces of the championship net while posing for a group photo with coach Favaro.
