Greenfield Elementary held a drive through graduation ceremony in May in order to be able to celebrate fifth grade students moving on to middle school while maintaining social distancing standards. Parents drove their students to the front of the school to receive their certificates and goody bags. Then students were driven through the school parking lot where they were greeted by teachers and school staff who cheered them on with posters, pom poms and cowbells. Teachers and staff remained in their vehicles to ensure proper distancing and to attempt to stay dry in the pouring rain.
