Gregory Alan Stull, 71, of Eagle Rock, passed away suddenly on Saturday, January 15, 2022.
He served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He worked for Ingersoll Rand and HF Interiors. Greg was an avid farmer, raising beef cattle and was a member of the Botetourt Cattlemen’s Association. He loved to bear hunt and was a member of the Virginia Bear Hunters Association. Greg loved spending time outdoors, taking care of his farmland and his beloved dogs. He never met a stranger, and he was always lending a hand to anyone in need.
He was predeceased by his parents, James Thomas and Mildred Teaford Stull; and brother, Roger Stull.
Surviving family includes his loving wife of 40 years, Debbie Kern Stull; brother; Timmy (Rebecca) Stull; aunt, Anne Barger; mother-in-law, Eunice McClung Kern; brother-in-law, Eddie (Glenna) Kern; brother-in-law, Bobby (Rhonda) Kern; sister-in-law, Kelly (Richard) Kesler; sister-in-law, Karen (Gary) Guilliams; also surviving are one niece, six nephews, and three great-nephews; and numerous other family members and friends.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Friday, January 21, in the Buchanan Chapel of Botetourt Funeral Home, Buchanan with the Rev. Robert A. McRae officiating. Interment will follow in the Forest Grove Baptist Church Cemetery at a later date. The family received friends two hours prior to the service.
