Attic Productions is proud to present the Tony Award-winning musical Guys and Dolls, opening Thursday, July 24. With music and lyrics by Frank Loesser and a book by Jo Swerling and Abe Burrows, this beloved classic is set in 1950s New York City and follows the intertwining lives of gamblers, showgirls, and missionaries—with plenty of romance and humor along the way.
Featuring iconic songs such as “Luck Be a Lady” and “Sit Down, You’re Rockin’ the Boat,” Loesser’s lively score takes audiences on a charming journey through love, chance, and redemption.
A large and talented cast of local performers has worked diligently throughout the summer to bring this production to life. The show is directed by James Honaker, with musical direction by Joshua Lindvaldsen and choreography by Mandy Masching. Performances will be held at Attic’s D. Geraldine Lawson Performing Arts Center, located at 7490 Roanoke Road, Fincastle, from July 24 through August 10. Evening performances are scheduled for Thursdays and Fridays at 7:30 p.m., with matinees on Saturdays and Sundays at 2:30 p.m.
Ticket prices are $20 for adults and $15 for students (18 and under) and groups of 10 or more, when paid by cash or check at the box office. Tickets may also be purchased online at www.atticproductions.info.
For questions or ticket assistance, contact the box office at 540-473-1001. Volunteers are available to assist on Mondays and Wednesdays from 3 to 5 p.m. Voicemail messages left at other times will be returned as soon as possible.
