Richard Allen Hayes Jr., 51, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Oct. 5, 2025.
He was born on March 13, 1974, in San Jose, Calif., to Emily Suzanne Morgan and Richard Allen Hayes Sr.
Richard spent his childhood in Palmdale, Calif.,, and later in Roanoke, where he built many lifelong friendships and created countless cherished memories.
He is survived by his mother, Emily Suzanne Morgan; his father and stepmother, Richard Allen Hayes Sr. and Linda Hayes; and his brothers, Brian Michael Hayes (wife Amanda Hayes, child Emily Hayes) and Allen Burke Hayes (wife Anna Hayes, children Kieran Hayes and Arya Cook).
A celebration of life gathering will be held on Friday, Oct. 17, 2025 from 6 until 8 p.m. at Rader Funeral Home in Daleville.
