On Saturday, April 1, Jennings Creek Gospel Church will hold its annual “Heritage Day” from 8 a.m. until 2 p.m. The day is a continuation of the once traditional “Trout Season Opening Day” on the creek at Arcadia.
The Ladies Friendship Circle will be selling home-cooked breakfasts and lunch for those who come to fish and those who come just for the food. Along with the meals, homemade fried apple pies and other homemade desserts will be available. Proceeds will support the church’s local missions.
The church is located at 5486 Jennings Creek Road, Buchanan. For more information, call Cherry Ramsey at 540-520-5853.
