Historic Fincastle Inc. (HFI) will host its second ice cream social on Sunday, Aug. 17 from noon until 4 p.m. at Big Spring Park on the corner of Water and Back Streets in Fincastle. Last year HFI was thrilled to welcome members of the community to have ice cream and hot dogs, and enjoy live music, vintage games, living history interpreters, and social time. There will be free ice cream, hot dogs, music, a bounce house, games and crafts, face painting, and, of course, social time. HFI will also be premiering its new souvenir sweatshirts, hats, and kitchen towels.
