Historic Fincastle, Inc. (HFI) recently announced three exciting, upcoming events on social media.
This Monday, November 4, HFI presents “A Spy Unmasked 250 Years Later” at Fincastle Presbyterian Church at 6 p.m. HFI welcomes Michael Hudson, Executive Director of Historic Smithfield, as he shares a bit of history about Col. William Preston’s spy who exposed the Tory underground in western Virginia.
Then, on November 14, HFI will hold its annual meeting of membership at Fincastle Presbyterian that starts at 6:40 p.m. with an HFI slide show created by Harry Kessler, Jr. That will be followed by a business meeting for HFI and the election of its board of directors. Following the meeting will be a program by Donald and Caroline Naysmith on historical restoration.
On Saturday, December 14, from 9:30 a.m. until 3 p.m., HFI hosts a winter marketplace at Fincastle Baptist Church. Over 40 vendors will be on hand selling holiday-themed wares.
