David Earl Hodges, 65, of Buchanan, passed away Tuesday, August 6, 2024.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Elmer, Sr. and Earline Hodges, and great-nephew, Alexander McCormick.
He is survived by his wife of almost 32 years, Deborah Lynn Hodges; son and daughter-in-law, David and Ashley Wall; step-son, Ivan Wall; grandchildren, Adrian, Isabella, and Daniel Wall; step-granddaughter, Arianna Wall; brother, Elmer Hodges, Jr.; sisters, Patricia (PJ) McCormick, Darlene McGhee, and Diane Bane; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held from 6-8 p.m. Monday, August 12, 2024 in Botetourt Funeral Home, Buchanan. Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, August 13, in Valley View Baptist Church with Pastor Daniel Boone officiating. Interment followed in Fairview Cemetery.
