Robert Emil Hoffman, 83, passed away on April 19, 2025. He was born on March 2, 1942.
He was preceded in death by his son, Joseph Hoffman.
Robert is survived by his loving wife, Linda Hoffman; his children, John Hoffman, Patricia Hoffman, Sandra Hoffman, and Heidi Hoffman; his sister, Claudette Backes; grandchildren, Sean, Jacen, Emily, Joshua, Lexi, Michael, and Christopher; and great-grandchildren, Greyson and Eli.
He was a devoted member of the Church of the Transfiguration and proudly served as a member of the Knights of Columbus. He also volunteered with Habitat for Humanity, giving his time and talents to help others in need.
Affectionately known as “Knob Bob,” Robert was well known for his kindness, faith, and craftsmanship. In his free time, he made thousands of rosaries over the years. He will be remembered for his generous heart, deep faith, and the legacy of service and love he leaves behind.
The Mass of Christian Burial took place at the Church of the Transfiguration on April 26 at 10 a.m., with the Interment following at St Andrew’s Diocesan Cemetery.
