[SUBMITTED PHOTO]Home Shopping Network, also known as HSN, has been housed in a facility located in Roanoke, at 1 Avery Row since 2000. During the company’s time there, it took a special interest in supporting a local volunteer fire and rescue organization–Read Mountain Fire & Rescue Department. HSN has donated to Read Mountain multiple times throughout its time here. The most recent donation was its last to Read Mountain as the company is leaving the area, but it was done in a different way this time. HSN as a company offered to match the same amount that was donated by the employees. This raised close to $4,000 for Read Mountain. The company also donated multiple gift cards and snacks to the department as well.
