Katie Hunt of Troutville and Michael Cole of Middletown, Ohio, were married July 22, 2018 in the Kyle House in Fincastle by Newt Hetrick and the Rev. David Frasier.
Katie is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Duane Hunt. Michael is the son of Mr. and Mrs. George Cole.
The bride wore a floor length sheath dress of antique white silk with a sweetheart neckline accented by crystals and a chapel length veil. She carried a bouquet of eucalyptus and white David Austin roses.
Bridal attendants were maid of honor Emily Switzer, sister of the bride, Caitlyn Mitchell, Jessica Kauffman, Kristen Aycock and Jennifer Cole, sister of the groom. Flower girls were Ava and Lucy Switzer.
The groom’s attendants were best man Colin Packert and groomsmen Samuel Bor, Joey Haker, Danny Brooks, Mark Hiteshew and Scott Dyer. Ring bearers were Hank Cole and Wyatt Switzer.
Music for the ceremony was provided by Anna Berardinelli.
Katie graduated from Liberty University and Michael from Miami University of Ohio. They met while teaching English at Hebei Normal University of Science and Technology in Qinhuangdao, China for IECS (International English and Cultural Studies). They currently live in Arlington while Michael completes his master’s degree at George Mason University.
