James Harold “Jim” Flint, 91, of Buchanan, passed away Thursday, April 21, 2022.
Jim was a freight truck driver for many years with Blue Ridge Transfer and James River Limestone. He loved to fish, mostly at creeks in the Arcadia area.
Jim was preceded in death by his parents, George Edward Flint, Sr. and Ramona Rhea Flint; and wives, Elizabeth Shires Flint, Maxine Stanley Flint, and Erma Hale Flint; and brothers, George “Pat,” Mike and Walter “Bill” Flint.
Survivors include his son and daughter-in-law, Kevin and Hope Flint of Buchanan; daughter, Susan Flint Wendling and fiancée, Dane Hanger, of Raphine; grandchildren, Alison McCombs and fiancée, Rob Cramer, of Virginia Beach, James Lee and Melissa Flint of Buchanan, and Nicole Flint of Buchanan; great-grandchildren, Camdyn, Bailee, and Luka Flint; and two step-grandchildren, Josh Niday and Amanda Helmick.
Funeral services were held 12 noon on Tuesday, April 26, in the Buchanan Chapel of Botetourt Funeral Home with Pastors Dave Mucha and Marina Gopadze officiating.
