Several James River athletes were recently honored as All-Region or All-District after the spring season.
In softball, senior Ripley Barry was named first team All-Region 2C at first base. Second team All-Region honors went to senior Abbie Wilson in the outfield and sophomore Sydnee Breeding at designated player. Barry and Breeding both made first team All-Three Rivers District while Wilson made the second team.
In baseball, River’s Hunter Mays was named second team All-Region 2C at second base. Mays is second team at shortstop on the All-Three Rivers District team.

In girls soccer, River junior Konner Myers was named first team All-Region 2C on defense. Myers was also named first team All-Three Rivers District and sophomore Sophia Martin, a freshman, was named to the first team at midfield. Second team All-District are freshman Rhaya Kitt at forward and senior Annaabelle Peay on defense.
In boys soccer, senior Josiah Clark was second team All-Three Rivers District at forward.
