During the February 17 Botetourt Rotary Club meeting, the club recognized past Botetourt Rotary Club President Jeff Stritesky. Stritesky served as the Botetourt Rotary Club’s first president from July 2017-July 2018.
“Jeff’s work as the Botetourt Rotary Club’s first president laid the groundwork for our club’s continued success,” said Dr. Angie Anderson, Botetourt Rotary president.
Lt. Stritesky has worked in law enforcement for over 30 years, 25 of which have been spent serving the citizens of Botetourt County. Currently, he serves as a DARE School Resource Officer for the Eagle Rock and Fincastle Elementary Schools.
“Jeff’s love for our community is exemplified through his Rotary service and through his law enforcement service,” said Lethia Hammond, president-elect. “Jeff always has a smile on his face and is eager to lend a hand,” Hammond concluded.
The Botetourt Rotary Club meets each first and third Wednesday at noon at Bellacino’s
