This Saturday, April 1, Jennings Creek Gospel Church will hold its annual “Heritage Trout Day” breakfast and lunch from 8 a.m. until 2 p.m.
The Ladies Friendship Circle will be selling home-cooked breakfasts and lunches with sausage gravy and biscuits, hamburgers, hot dogs, pinto beans, chili beans and drinks.
Along with the meal, the Ladies Circle will have homemade fried apple pies and homemade desserts.
Proceeds support the church’s local missions, school supplies, nursing homes, etc. and mission trips.
The food will be available in the picnic shelter at the church on Jennings Creek Road (Rt. 614) east of Buchanan.
