The Ladies Friendship Circle of Jennings Creek Gospel Church will be back selling breakfast and lunch on Saturday, April 2 at the annual Trout Heritage Day to folks coming out to fish or anyone wishing to enjoy good food and fellowship while supporting the Friendship Circle’s missions. Serving will be from 8 a.m.-2 p.m.
Breakfast foods will be sausage and gravy biscuits, sausage biscuits, ham biscuits, scrambled eggs and homemade fried apple pies.
For lunch, they will have hamburgers, cheeseburgers, hot dogs with homemade chili, chili beans, pinto beans, loaded baked potatoes (your choice of toppings), cornbread, chips and assorted desserts.
Assorted canned soda, bottled water, tea, coffee, and hot chocolate also will be available.
Proceeds will support the church’s local missions.
The food will be available at the picnic shelter at the church, located at 5486 Jennings Creek Road (Rt. 614) in Buchanan.
