The James River golfers will be participating in the Region C golf tournament on Monday, September 30, at The Old Course at The Homestead.
River was scheduled to wrap up the regular season on Tuesday of this week with a match against Northside at the Botetourt Golf & Swim Club. Last week the Knights played Glenvar and won a dual match by four strokes, 379 to 383. Ryan Steger was the low score for River with an 84, followed by Silas Miller with 85. Ryan birdied his last hole with a 20-foot putt to edge Miller by one stroke.
Lacey Kessler had 96 and Michael Jorgenson had 114. Glenvar’s Avery Alexander was the medalist with a 74.
