A fund-raising benefit will be held for Angela Wenk from 5-7 p.m. Saturday, June 10 at the Solomon’s Mission Community Center, 593 Lowe Street, Buchanan.

The event will include a Chinese auction, cake walk and food. The meal will consist of a hot dog, homemade macaroni and cheese, baked beans, slaw and a drink for $6. Baked goods will be sold separately.

Angela is a local 15-year-old, the daughter of Bill and Joyce Wenk. She has been diagnosed with Adolescent Idiopathic Scoliosis and is having corrective surgery at the end of June. All proceeds from this benefit will go toward her medical expenses. Those who are unable to attend and want to help may go to BB&T and make a deposit into her student checking account. Any consideration is greatly appreciated by her family.
