Amber Michelle Keith, 37, of Troutville, passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 22, 2025 surrounded by her loved ones.

Born July 3, 1987, Amber grew up with a vibrant spirit, a sharp wit, and a heart full of love. A 2003 graduate of James River High School, she was known for her contagious laughter and the ability to bring light into any room.

Amber faced incredible challenges in her life with strength and grace. After surviving a traumatic car accident that left her paralyzed from the neck down, she never let her circumstances define her. Her resilience and determination were rooted in her deep love for her son– he was her greatest pride and joy, and she fought every day to be there for him.

More than anything, Amber was a devoted mother, loving daughter, caring sister, and loyal friend. Her humor, strength, and unwavering love will live on in the hearts of everyone who had the privilege of knowing her. She leaves behind a legacy of courage, laughter, and love.

Along with her son Jaden Beckner, she is survived by her father and step-mother, Dennis and Susan Keith; mother and step-father, Ann and Tony Walrond; brother and sister-in-law, Derek and Heather Keith; step-brothers, Derrike (Olivia) Walker, Matt and Steve Walrond; grandmothers, Frances Jackson, Mary (Pat) Rossi; aunts and uncles, Debbie and Tommy Keith, Patty and Dean Keith, Janet and Boyd Wade, Donnie Moore, Wendy and Roger Brown, and Vicki and Dale Walrond; nieces and nephews, Ariana Keith, Madalyn Walker, Lincoln Walker, Everette Walker, special friend, Tommy Dannell, and numerous other nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends, especially the Beckner Family: Josh, Leslie, and Tommy.

Special thanks to the Brian Center in Fincastle and many caregivers over the years.

Visitation will be held from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. with funeral services at 1 p.m., Thursday, June 26, 2025 in the Buchanan Chapel of Botetourt Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Sherwood Memorial Park. Those wishing to send a condolence, please do so at www.botetourtfh.com.
