William Warren Keith died Friday, February 21, 2020.
Bill was born July 13, 1962 in Harlan, Ky. He was the son of Jack and Margaret Keith. Bill graduated from the University of Virginia, Wise with a B.S. in Environmental Science. Bill was a longtime employee of the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Natural Resource Conservation Service of which he recently retired. He was a vital part of the Virginia Search and Rescue Program and the National Cave Rescue commission.
Bill is survived by his mother, Margaret Keith; his wife, Sharon; and his two children, Zachary and Kaitlyn.
A memorial service will be held at the Buchanan Funeral Home, in the Town of Buchanan, Sunday March 8, at 5:30 p.m., followed by a reception in the community center.
