Lord Botetourt grad Zack Kelly, here pitching in a rehab assignment in Salem last summer, was recalled to the big league Boston Red Sox last week. Kelly has pitched in two games since returning to the big club. He’s pitched in two games since his return, going two scoreless innings against the Guardians on April 24 and two scoreless innings against the Cubs on Friday. In four innings Zack has allowed just one hit and no walks while striking out four.
