Jason Lee Kestner, 54, of Roanoke went home to be with the Lord, Monday, July 29, 2024.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Harvey and Bonnie Hendrix Kestner; brother-in-law, Cecil Hoyt; and father-in-law, Robert Stamper.
Mr. Kestner was employed for 31 years as a Sales Engineer with Gala Industries. His hobbies included listening to the music of Pink Floyd and anything Disney. He was a proud Mason and a member of Fincastle Baptist Church.
Surviving are his wife of 16 years, Annette Stamper Kestner; children, Melody E. Hibner (Bryce), Lyndsay M. Bannister (Daijon), Chase A. Kestner, Nathan A. Kestner, and Brian M. Kestner; grandchildren, Gabi, Ana, Elijah, Isaiah, Mateo, and Bryson, and one to be born in September; siblings, Jeff Kestner (Millie), Joann Hoyt, Patti Stamper, and Karen Stamper; mother-in-law, Carolyn B. Stamper; special sibling, Tex Dunford; many nieces and nephews; and a special mention of Lord Nibbles.
Funeral services were conducted at 10 a.m. Friday, August 2, 2024 at Simpson Funeral Home, Roanoke, by Pastor Joe Pantaleo. Interment was in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. The family received friends from 6-8 p.m. Thursday, August 1, at Simpson Funeral Home, 540-366-0707.
