The Kiwanis Club of Botetourt awarded scholarships to two seniors from Lord Botetourt High School on Friday May 19. Leonard Travis Goad (left) received the John Blake & Ray Otey $1,500 Scholarship, and Josie Gore (right) was awarded the BTEC $1,500 Scholarship, presented by Kiwanis member Lynne Bolton. Both recipients are planning to continue their studies; Leonard at VCU, and Josie at Virginia Tech.
