The Botetourt Kiwanis Club met on Monday to review methods of giving back to the community at Thanksgiving. Under normal circumstances, the club delivers food baskets to needy families, but members are considering alternatives this year.
The club also designated Veranda Bistro as its Restaurant of the Week and the Exit 150 Best Western as the Business of the Week.
The next meeting of the Kiwanis Club will take place on Monday, Nov. 23 at 7 p.m. Most members will meet via Zoom. To be included on the Zoom call, email Club President Dr. Ed Lynch at elynch@hollins.edu.
