The Botetourt Kiwanis Club met on Tuesday at Veranda Bistro and continued planning for the club’s recycling event at Lord Botetourt High School on May 22. The club will ask for contributions at the event and will donate the proceeds to Botetourt County Libraries’ “1,000 Things to Know Before Kindergarten” project.
The club also continued its recognition of local businesses by recommending that everyone patronize Bellacino’s restaurant and Bryant Orchard’s retail store.
