The Botetourt County Kiwanis Club recognizes Hollywood’s Restaurant and Bakery as its Restaurant of the Week this week. The Business of the Week is Cahoon’s Florist and Gifts in Fincastle.
The Restaurant of the Week and Business of the Week recognition is an effort by the club to thank local businesses for their support of Kiwanis activities on behalf of the children of Botetourt County. Club members are encouraged to support these businesses during these difficult economic times.
The Kiwanis Club has set the date of September 12 for its annual recycling and shredding event at Lord Botetourt High School. The next meeting of the club will take place on Monday, August 24 at 7 p.m. The club will hear an update from Botetourt County Library officials on their programs for children. Guests are always welcome.
