Hiawatha Nicely (center), of the Botetourt Kiwanis Club and a director of the Capital District Foundation, presented a check to Carilion Clinic Children’s Hospital President and CEO Nancy Howell Agee (left) and Vice-President for Pediatrics and Guest/Volunteer Services Sheila K. Lambert. The Capital District Foundation of Kiwanis includes the Kiwanis Clubs in Virginia, Delaware, Maryland and the District of Columbia who collectively contribute annually to seven Children’s Hospitals within the three-state and District of Columbia region.
