The Kiwanis Club of Botetourt County is holding its eighth annual electronic recycling and personal document destruction event Saturday, April 29, from 8:30 a.m.-1 p.m. on the driving range/south parking lot at Lord Botetourt High School.
The free event is a community service project of the Key Club of Lord Botetourt High School, the Kiwanis Club of Botetourt County, the Solid Waste Division of Botetourt County and Goodwill Industries of the Valleys.
This event will allow for responsible recycling of electronic items along with a shredding service. This community service project is free to the public; however, the Kiwanis Club will accept monetary donations to support Kiwanis projects for youth in Botetourt County.
