The sixth annual James River Football Golf Tournament is scheduled for Saturday, July 16, at the Botetourt Golf and Swim Club. The tournament is a fund raiser for the Knights football team.
A shotgun start at 1 p.m. will follow a box lunch at noon. There will be prizes and gifts immediately following the tournament at approximately 6 p.m.
The tournament will be a captain’s choice with up to four players on a team. Cost is $300 per team and that includes golf, a meal and door prizes for each player. There will also be competitions for longest drive, closest-to-the-pin, an on or off green 50/50 and a power-up mulligans voucher.
Sponsorships are also available and donations are welcome. Hole sponsors must be received by July 9.
