The Knights of Columbus Fish Fry is April 19, 5-7 p.m., with little-to-no-wait. Eat in or take out until 7 p.m. at the Church of the Transfiguration, 7624 Roanoke Road, Fincastle. Cost is $12 (ages 7 and under are free) for two filets of lightly breaded flounder (or six chicken nuggets reserved for children or adults who do not want fish), crispy fries, sweet cornbread, homemade coleslaw, and choice of one dessert. A50/50 drawing will be held. There are no advance ticket sales. Proceeds will benefit Botetourt Food Pantry, Backpack Ministry at Greenfield Elementary, Botetourt Resource Center, and other local charities. For more information, call 540-904-3126.
