The Lord Botetourt competition cheerleaders came in first place in the Blue Ridge District competition at William Byrd High School last week. In addition, LB coach Alanna Tomasevic (left) was named the BRD Coach of the Year and Emily Hanson of the Cavaliers was named Cheerleader of the Year. The Cavaliers will compete this Saturday at Northside High School at 10 a.m. in the Region 3D competition. The top two teams will advance to the state championship at Virginia Commonwealth University.
