The Lord Botetourt girls are still undefeated in soccer after a dozen games. The Cavaliers will put their unbeaten record on the line tonight when they host William Byrd.
Botetourt had no trouble with two Blue Ridge District rivals last week, shutting out both. LB won at Rockbridge, 8-0, then took a 10-0 win over Alleghany in Low Moor Friday.
Sara Bane had a three-goal hat trick at Rockbridge while Hannah Leonard scored two goals. Sydney Harris, Autumn Bonhotel and Alexis Borovich had one goal each.
Against Alleghany Sara Bane, Hannah Bane and Bonhotel had two goals each to lead the Cavaliers. Heather Finley, Emily D’Arpa, Mary-Randall Plunkett and Harris had one goal each. Hannah Bane, Leonard, Plunkett and Hallie Catron all had two assists each in a team effort.
After tonight’s game with Byrd the Cavaliers will host William Fleming on Friday.
