The tournament was held at the Glenrochie Country Club in Abingdon, a par 72 course. The tournament was held under sunny skies on a perfect day for golf.
Mehrbaan Singh of Independence High edged Will Watson of Abingdon for the individual state championship. Singh was two under with a 70 while Watson shot a 71. Davidov came in tied for sixth at 78 while Harper tied for eighth at 79.
Host Abingdon won the team title on its home course. The Falcons beat out LB for the team title at the Ashley Plantation a week prior. Abingdon and Independence both shot a team score of 309 Monday and Abingdon won a playoff for the state championship.
Both Davidov, a junior, and Harper, a sophomore, will return to the LB team for the fall season.
