Lord Botetourt took a group of indoor athletes to the Liberty Premier Invitational at Liberty University in Lynchburg last Saturday and several Cavaliers placed.
The LB 4×200 team of KJ Bratton, Dylan Knick, Cade Lang and Joey Isaacs took second in the big meet with a time of 1:34.16. Knick finished third in the 55 hurdles with a new school record of 7.98 and DJ Toliver was fourth in the shot put with a heave of 45’ 4.5”.
The Cavs will be back at Liberty University for the Walter Bass Invitational this Saturday. LB and James River were scheduled to run in meets at Roanoke College last week and this Friday, but both were cancelled due to health concerns at RC.
