The Lord Botetourt tennis teams will take on Franklin County this Friday with the boys in Rocky Mount and the girls at Hollins University.
The Cavalier boys improved to 6-5 overall with two wins last week. They defeated William Byrd, 8-1, and William Fleming, 9-0, to remain undefeated in the Blue Ridge District at 5-0.
The girls are 10-3 overall and 7-0 in the BRD, defeating Byrd 9-0 last week. The girls also lead the district, and both teams were scheduled to play Northside Tuesday, but results were too late for publication.
The James River girls were rained out of a Monday match with Radford and it was rescheduled for May 22. The girls host Patrick County next Monday, May 19, then host Glenvar a week from today.
