Leonard was the catcher for the West team in two of the four games as the West went 2-2 on the weekend in the four-team tourney. The West beat the Central team, 8-5, and the East team, 7-6 in eight innings. Both losses were to the North team, which was loaded with VHSL Class 5 and Class 6 players who were good hitters. North beat the West 11-5 in the round robin and 13-4 in the championship game.
The North team swept the round robin and finished 4-0 on the weekend, defeating the East team 13-7 and the Central team 22-9.
