It’s springtime, but we have to start thinking about the Town of Fincastle Fourth of July fireworks.
Until last year, there were donations of money left over for the next year. We have no money left over. It has cost a little over $3,000 for the fireworks. We usually have around $500 left from the previous year, but not last year.
If we can’t get the amount needed, we will not have the Fourth of July fireworks show. The Town of Fincastle needs to know how much money it will have by the end of May, so it can make the decision whether there will be a fireworks show.
Donations can be sent to Town of Fincastle, P.O. Box 250, Fincastle 24090, or taken to the Town Office. Let’s not lose an event enjoyed by many families.
