Troutville thanks Arritt, New River Electrical for assistance with hanging Christmas lights
Editor:
Since Thanksgiving, the Town of Troutville has been installing Christmas lights. The front of Town Hall had been decorated so nicely and the lights along Lee Highway were being installed via the bucket truck and town staff. Mark Boggs with C&M Industrial Maintenance Services had so graciously allowed the use of their bucket truck both in the past and this year as well. Unfortunately, the bucket truck experienced a malfunction causing the installation to come to a quick halt. What do we do now?
Robert Arritt with New River Electrical Corporation was contacted this past Friday to see if he might come to the town’s rescue. Within several hours and on Friday afternoon, Robert was on the job with a bucket truck, and several of New River Electrical’s employees, working with Scott Paderick, town water operator, to complete the installation.
The Town of Troutville would like to thank Robert Arritt, all the folks at New River Electrical Corporation and Scott Paderick for a job well done and wishes each and everyone a Merry Christmas and Happy 2022!
