Fincastle Winter Market a great success
The Town of Fincastle held its first ever Fincastle Winter Market on January 21 at the Fincastle Volunteer Fire Department. Thanks to the help of many volunteers, it was a great success with over 350 visitors to the indoor market. The goal of this market was to encourage people to buy locally produced and made goods and to bring more people to beautiful historic Fincastle.
Special thanks go to the guys and gals at the Fincastle Volunteer Fire Department, especially Henry Booze. Additional help came from MicroHarmonics of Fincastle, all the members of the Town of Fincastle Sustainability Committee, and Town Manager David Tickner.
A fabulous array of local farmers and vendors and the presence of the Ferguson Family Provisions Food Truck made for a memorable day.
Thanks again to all the volunteers, named and unnamed, that made it such a success.
